…The U.S.A.'s white flag is the white version of its national flag, flown to demand rights such as democratic rights, the right to freedom of speech, etc. The flag is devoid of colours, but with red outlining the stripes and blue outlines the stars of the national flag.
…The U.S.A.'s white flag is first raised to re-affirm and claim constitutional and democratic rights that are being threaten by contemporary attitudes linked to the WikiLeaks case, namely the calls against freedom of speech, the thwarting of the law to suit the government and not the people the government represents, as well as the threats of death and violence against Assange.
…Those attitudes logically represents only a part of the U.S. population and its politics. The intention of the flag is thus limited, as well. The U.S.A.'s hollow flag is a necessary companion to the white flag in this case.
